The RTI Intelligent Video Bar is now available. The need for good quality video conferencing equipment has not declined since the pandemic. More and more, businesses small and large have learned the advantages of being able to connect easily with their other locations and other businesses. Even learning spaces and non-profits have benefitted from being able to allow patrons to sit in on meetings they otherwise could not have attended. This video bar puts together both a speaker system, microphones, and a PTZ camera, and can be the center piece of your conference room , learning room, or huddle space.
Intelligent Video Bar Hardware
- Aimable Camera – the camera in this unit features a 4K, 8 Megapixel sensor. It has a 120° field of view, and can use AI tracking on the speaker or presenter, automatically frame the image, or be manually pointed at a fixed position.
- Speaker Array – the video bar has two full range 8-watt speakers with bass radiators.
- Microphones – there are four micro electro-mechanical microphone arrays that work together to pickup audio where needed, whether it’s an individual or a group. They feature automatic noise suppression, gain control, and echo cancellation.
Intelligent Video Bar Connectivity
- Inputs and Outputs – 1 HDMI in, 1 HDMI out, Ethernet, and 1 each USB-A, USB-B and USB-C for connections to a television, and/or laptop or desktop computer running Windows 10 or better or Mac OSX 10.15 or better.
- Network – supports wired Ethernet at 1GbE (1 gigabit) or Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/ac.
- Wireless Device Connectivity – supports Airplay®, Miracast®, or RTI Media Xchange™ via a USB-C adaptor to plug into your computer or mobile device.
- Video Platforms – works with Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Webex, and Ring Central.
Available accessories
- RTI UC-MXT media Xchange™ transmitter for wireless connections from computers and mobile devices, connects to device with USB-C and transmits to the video bar wirelessly (up to two per video bar).
- RTI UC-IVB-EXM expansion microphones (up to five, CAT6 wired), with a pickup range of 9.8′ for larger conference rooms.
- RTI UC-IVB-TM floating wall mount for TVs with VESA brackets, or the video bar can be mounted on its own directly to the wall or set up on its stand.
All told, the RTI Intelligent Video Bar can enhance video conferencing systems and meeting room by providing and all-in-one camera, speaker array and microphones, with AI tracking. It can be used by itself, or with a computer, and can be controlled with the included Bluetooth remote, an on-screen user interface, or installed as part of a larger RTI control system that can include in-wall touch panels or hand-held remotes.
